Job interviews can be nerve-wracking to say the least, and the last thing you want to do is be worried about your outfit. So, today I’m sharing my tips and tricks for dressing the part and looking your ultimate best!

When dressing for the office and meetings, I like to wear structured pieces that are polished, yet still reflect my personal style and make me feel like myself. My formula for the perfect interview outfit is a good pair of black skinny jeans or trousers, a conservative blouse, blazer and pointy-toe pumps!

For this particular outfit, I went with a classic black and white color palette so I wanted to incorporate a couple trendy accents like the bell sleeves on the blazer and blush bag. I made sure to keep my hair and make-up to a minimum, especially because the bell sleeves were already a bit of a distraction. Now that I’m at the 7 month mark, I’ve been on the hunt for maternity pants that are stylish, flattering and comfy for the bump! These black pants by Orsay have become my go-to’s for when I want to dress up, but still feel comfortable.

1. Keep It Minimal

Keep your makeup and hair as natural as possible because it can be distracting to the interviewer.

2. Dress Like Yourself

Try to stay true to your personal style instead of wearing something that is completely out of your realm. Look for your best classic, tailored pieces that are sophisticated, yet let your personality shine through! And most importantly remember, no see-through garments, bold colors, cleavage and always opt for closed-toe pumps!

3. Do Your Research

Make sure you do a bit of research about the company you are interviewing with. This way you will know whether to dress business casual, professional or formal.

My accessory game just got a whole lot hotter thanks to Vita Fede! This jewelry brand has been a longtime favorite of mine for creating classic, high quality pieces that look amazing layered or on their own. Personally, I love stacking em up!! I’m all about statement jewelry that is elegant, modern and versatile enough to wear everyday. So being able to rely on a few jewelry pieces that I won’t get sick of on an everyday basis is key!
